A trip to the desert – on 5th November, 2009 - offered the girls of Year 7 -11  a real adventure into the magnificent landscape of the unique sands of Dubai. This safari tour took them right into the heart of the desert where they experienced the excitement of a roller-coaster tour down the astonishing high dunes.
Afterwards they reached the camp where they boarded on the 'ship of the desert '. Here they got a unique insight into the traditional life of the Bedouins. They also did dune bashing, sand-boarding and played some indoor games with their teachers.
