UAE National Day

Our students celebrated the 38th National Day of the United Arab Emirates on Wednesday, 25th November 2009 with a whole school assembly presentation in the school auditorium.

To start with, the students watched a video clip, which highlighted the rich heritage of this country depicting its past and the present, its astounding growth from the old to the new. The documentary highlighted how the dynamic rulers of this country have transformed and evolved it into one of history’s most successful countries.

The students recited poems in Arabic. The boys of Year 6 composed a poem in English and recited it to mark this glorious occasion.

The school was at its colorful best, adorned with embellishments matching the UAE Flag colors. Students were enlightened about the accomplishments of the UAE and the contributions of the Dawoodi Bohra community to the progress of the UAE.
