The students of Year 2 went on an educational trip to the Spinney’s Supermarket in Qusais, on 1st October 2009, to reinforce classroom learning of healthy and unhealthy foods.
The students saw and learnt how the eatables were displayed on the shelves. Selecting and buying healthy foods from the shelves was a very exciting experience for the children. It taught them to handle money carefully and spend wisely.
They bought some healthy foods such as fruits, yoghurt, cereal bars, etc.
It was indeed a very informative and enjoyable outing.
