I am Amatullah Rasheed with you of Yr. 8. Good Morning and welcome to the National Day Assembly today. In commemorating the the National Day, we the students of AAPS from Foundation stage through Key Stage 4, will convey to you that we are proud members of the expatriate family of this country and part of one of the MSB chain of schools, which is located in Dubai. We have the privilege to be groomed here to be ‘Perfect Mumins’ through our core values of our Alma Mater. May Allah grant Aqua Mola (TUS) with a long and healthy life. Ameen.
So, get ready to watch on stage how we incorporate our ‘Core Values’ in our day to day living in this country, which is our second home

World Citizenship:
The UAE is a melting pot of different cultures. Citizens of various countries come here for better job opportunities. Its doors are open to all irrespective of caste or creed….. engineers, chefs, builders, traders, teachers, etc. fly in from around the world. In this way, we the children of parents of varied professions, study at AAPS under one umbrella to get moulded into the future citizens of the world.
Islamic and Universal Values:
In this Islamic country, where Masjid’s abound and the Muezzin’s call to prayer beckons all, we understand the need to live as a global community. We can do so only if we have ‘Universal values’ to bind us together.
Our Principal, Heads of Sections and teachers groom us here with the ‘Global Values’ of Goodwill, Kindness, Truth, Honesty, Charity and Friendship. Our Masool and the Muraqibeen strengthen our roots in ‘Deeni Tarbiyat’, which will hold us firmly through the storms of a chaotic world and keep us away from bad influences.
Leadership Qualities:
We, at AAPS have learnt by example that a leader with a vision has a clear, vivid picture of where to go as well as firm grasp on what success looks like and how to achieve it.
We have also been made to understand that a good leader must have the discipline to work toward his/her vision and to direct actions toward the goal.
The main components of Leadership Qualities, which have been nurtured right from the Foundation Stage are Integrity, Dedication, Openness, Fairness, Creativity and of course, a Sense of Humour.
The sheer determination and grit of the leaders of this country have transformed the desert and the sand dunes to one of the most modern and sophisticated places of the century.
Forward and Progressive Thinking:
In this competitive world, we have proved our teaching and learning standards to be one of the best, through modern Information and Technology resources. Our very well equipped ICT laboratory and an audio visual room help us to meet grade level expectations.
For all this, we the students are lucky to be educated in Dubai as all the modern facilities are affordable and so easily available.
We need to find within ourselves the will to live by the values and the ‘Deeni Tarbiyat’ we proclaim in our local, national and international societies in the years to come. And now to conclude, we pray that Allah grant Aqa Mola (TUS) with a long and healthy life. Ameen.
