FS 1 Orientation

The youngest batch of the students of Foundation Stage 1 were welcomed on Wednesday, 3rd September, to a new threshold in the start of their academic career.

These tiny tots were greeted by the Principal, Masool and Head of Section.

The students and parents met the form tutors. The form tutors oriented the parents, giving them an overview of the daily routine and the various activities and strategies involved to impart the National Curriculum. The tutors handed over to the parents the ‘Curriculum Summary’, the ‘Event Calendar’ (listed with all the events for the academic year) and a ‘Handbook’ to familiarize the parents with the school policies and operational procedures.

Later the parents gathered in the auditorium, where they were addressed by the Senior Management Team. The session concluded by an introduction to the importance of ‘phonics’ for reading, by the Head of Section.
